Buyer's Premium & Payment Terms
Titled Vehicles & Heavy Equipment
A 10% buyer's premium will be applied to all titled vehicles and heavy equipment. In addition, a $515 deposit per vehicle ($500 plus $15 credit card fee) will be charged to your credit card on file at the close of the auction. The balance of the purchase price is due in cash or certified funds such as a certified bank check or wire transfer.
All Other Items
A 13% buyer's premium will be applied to all other items. The full purchase price, including the buyer's premium, will be charged to your credit card at the close of the auction.
Auction Timing & Extended Bidding
Timed Auction: This is a timed auction. The first lot will close at the scheduled close time. Each additional lot will close at 15-20 second intervals in consecutive order. Since there are several hundred lots in each auction, the entire auction may take several hours to complete. Please plan accordingly.
Important: Just because you have the high bid at 3:00 PM, does not mean you will not be outbid later in the auction.
Extended Bidding (Soft Close)
We utilize extended bidding or "soft close" to ensure fairness in the bidding process. If a bid is placed during the last minute of an item’s bidding period, the auction for that item will be extended for 2 additional minutes. This process continues until no further bids are placed, at which point the lot will be sold to the highest bidder.
Bidder Responsibility & Binding Contract
By registering and placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Binding Agreement: When you place a bid, you are entering into a binding contract to pay the full purchase price plus buyer's premium.
No Bid Retractions: Bids are final and cannot be retracted or canceled. Be certain of your bid amount before placing your bid. No Refunds: All sales are final. Once a bid is placed, there will be no refunds, cancellations, or returns. Please be certain of your bid and bid amounts before placing a bid. Bid retractions or cancelations will not be accepted.
AS IS, WHERE IS: All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults, if any, and without any warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to inspect the items and determine their condition before placing a bid.
No Rescission Rights: The highest bidder will have no right of rescission and no rights to refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.
Inspection & Condition of Items
Inspection: It is the responsibility of each bidder to inspect the items before placing a bid. By bidding, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the condition of the items.
Final Sale: The auction company does not accept returns or offer refunds for any purchases. All sales are final. All items are sold AS-IS with no guarantee.
By registering for the auction, you hereby agree that there will be no refunds and agree relinquish any right to credit card charge backs. All sales are final and the highest bidder has no right of rescission and no refund or exchange rights. Since all items and equipment are being sold "AS IS - WHERE IS", it means that the purchaser is buying "with all faults" and without any warranty or guarantee of any type, expressed or implied. Any information regarding the item provided by the seller is for convenience only. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect and investigate condition prior to bidding. Geyer Auction Companies expressly disclaims the accuracy of information such as model numbers, capacities, quantities, condition, etc.
State Laws & Regulations
This auction is conducted under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. By placing a bid, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations. A bid in this auction constitutes a legally binding contract.
Credit Card Issues / Non-Payment
If we are unable to successfully charge a deposit your credit card at the close of the auction, whether for the deposit or for the full amount, your purchases will be forfeited. In addition, you will be flagged as a non-paying bidder across all our platforms, Bidwrangler, Hibid, Proxibid, and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and will be banned from future auctions.
Onsite Title Transfers
All title transfers will be handled onsite by our licensed PennDOT notary. Applicable title transfer fees apply and must be paid directly to the notary at the time of transfer.
Sales Tax: Sales tax will be paid directly to PennDOT at the time of title transfer for Pennsylvania residents.
